Oktoberfest 2024
Get ready to celebrate Oktoberfest in this two-part festival. Explore our extended farmers market, popup vendors, games, contests and live entertainment. Don your most creative Oktoberfest themed costume and join the Main Street sidewalk parade where you will end in Market Square and the best costume will be chosen. Your pups are encouraged to join in! Embark on a scavenger hunt that will take you into our fantastic businesses and local attractions. Cheer on the the adorable wiener dogs in the annual race.
Finish out the festivities by attending the Wurst Party Ever! Costumes, contests, games, and shenanigans. We will end the night by crowning the Wurst King and Wurst Queen. This is an event you wont want to miss!
Trick or Treat on Main
Durant Main Street Historic District is excited to host the annual Trick-or-Treat on Main event for kids in costume on Thursday, October 31st from 4pm to 6pm at locations throughout the district.
Parents and guardians are invited to bring their kiddos downtown to enjoy a family-friendly evening that includes spooky tunes, roaming characters, photo ops, and trick-or-treating at participating businesses and pop-ups. Attendees can pick up an event map from the information booth in front of the Main Street office.
The event is free and open to everyone.

Dijon Fundraiser
Join us in supporting the Krasniqi family, owners of Romas Italian Restaurant in Durant. Their beloved nephew, Dijon, who is 19 years old, was recently diagnosed wit a rare form of cancer. Donation opportunities will consist of dine-in plate, to-go orders, online auction, raffle, and t-shirt purchase. Let’s come together as a community and make a difference in their lives as they have in ours.
